Owner and skilled craftsman Craig Wiegand of Eagle, WI opened shop in November 2016 to turn his hobby into a lifelong dream of working with his skill daily.
A one-time rodeo cowboy himself, Craig attended saddle making school in Loveland, Colorado. His passion for working with leather continued until his business grew from the confines of his basement to the storefront that opened in November 2016.
Being a rider himself, Craig appreciates and understands the importance of a good saddle fit for both horse and rider. With his passion, driving his leather tooling, you can expect quality service and product as if it were his own.
Twisted Fork is has a full line of equestrian products along with the professional skilled craftsman to maintain and repairs the leather products made and sold.
I was going to follow in the footsteps I told myself I would never do. Try to find cheaper materials to compete with "affordable " saddle companies. The nails I use in my saddles are superior to any I've seen before. Can I find cheaper nails? Sure i can. And I did. But they didn't have this claim on them like mine do. I will always be on the lookout for better materials, but I'm done shopping for cheaper materials. Heck, you'll be thanking me if you're ever riding in a hurricane!!
